Encounter leads to salvation Dean was praying away in a public park in his journal on the 31st of April 2022.  Dean rang his friend to see if he is ok after he broke his back (to which God healed him). Dean is sitting on a picnic bench and there is a gent sitting on the opposite far side of him. Dean's friend ask how are you and what are you doing? Dean replied "I am praying in my journal", they finish their talk on the phone. Dean continues praying and then, the guy next to Dean says, "I am sorry I was not listening in on your conversation, however I heard you say you were praying on the phone just then". Dean said, "Yes, I am praying. to which he replied "You will not believe this, I am thinking about being baptised" this was because he was due to marry his wife who is a Christian, however the wedding had been cancelled twice because of covid, he said, "I do not know if God is real, my wife is a Christian but I go to church as a non-believer and am not engaged with it at all". He said the reason he had to talk to Dean was because he was reading Arsene Vengers biograpahy book right at the time Dean was speaking to his friend on the ohone, and as he heard Dean say he was praying the gentleman sitting next to Dean was reading Arsene wengers biography and how he was praying for victory at a football game, read it for yourself below.  Next thing Dean gives his testimony that led to a massively long conversation. The genetlman then says he believes and gave his life to Jesus. The gentleman has now since been baptised. Psalm 96 1 "Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. 3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvellous deeds among all peoples." |
